Since 1993, World Water Day has been celebrated each year on March 22nd. It is the one-day that critical global water issues such as access to clean drinking water and sustainability are brought to the public’s attention. In 2012, on World Water Day Nautica kicked off a partnership with charity: water, to help their mission of ending the world water crisis and provide clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
Over the past 5 years our customers have taken this mission to heart. Raising over $2,300,000 through the brand’s “Give Change to Make Change” campaign.
This World Water Day, take a moment to assess how you are using water in your life. You don’t have to raise money to help global water issues. By doing simple actions such as taking shorter showers and not letting the water run while you brush your teeth you are helping save water for generations to come.
